Description: Serial #136202, 6.35mm (.25 ACP), 2 1/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome little pistol that retains 85-90% of the original bright blue finish that has silvered at the muzzle, and along the edges and projections. Additionally, there is fading to pewter gray around the slide serrations as well. The hammer, safety, trigger, and trigger guard are finished bright and have only a few negligible specks of dark freckling here and there. The checkered Vulcanite grips are in fine shape and have only some very small surface scuffs and tiny marks, however the right panel has faded to brown from storage, as has the leading edge of the left side panel. The pistol is housed in an original Webley one-piece box (the number on the bottom is illegible) with a mostly intact red paper label, and light wear and tearing along some of the edges and corners. Also included are a single original magazine, slightly oxidized original steel cleaning rod, original papers, and a period brown leather flap holster that is in fine condition; still supple and serviceable, with scuffs around the tip, as well as some crazing at the flex point of the cover. This is a very good example of a scarce Webley Vest Pocket, with a lot of original extras.
