Listing about the nicest looking little carbine I own, a Marlin model 1893 in the popular 38/55 caliber, has beautifully grained stock and forearm and retains most of the original blue , I'd say 85%, tight action and dead on which Marlins were noted for. Has the 20" barrel and rear ladder sight. You will look long and hard to find a rifle in nicer condition than this one. Carbine has a very ,very good bore. I ship only through USPS , insured requiring a adult signature on arrival. This carbine is an antique so I can ship to your door.. Serial number 172326 allowing it to be dated to 1898 Mfg, not all Marlins can be dated. This is a carbine but not a saddle ring, has the carbine butt plate.
