28" barrels are choked imp mod and full. 2 1/2" chambers with excellent bores...Forend wood appears to be original to gun, with sharp cut checkering. Buttstock appears to be a custom made walnut replacement, with an extravated pistol grip. Length of pull is 13 1/2" over a vintage FN Browning Automatic buttplate...Drop at comb is only 1 1/4"...Weighs 6 1/4 pounds, with heavier than usual stock...With a slip on pad, this gun fits me perfectly. It could be the same for you? If not, there is enough wood in the buttstock, so it can be refit and reshaped, as desired...About 90% barrel blue remains...Case colors faded to gray...Nice tight action...Overall, fine shooting condition...And for collectors, the serial number 350020, indicates this is the 20th 16 gauge Sterlingworth made, circa 1912...And just for fun, does anyone have a 16 gauge Sterlingworth made earlier than this one? If so, let me know and i will post info here...
