Description:
This sale features a 12 Ga. W&C Scott and Son live pigeon gun. This side lock gun is equipped with double triggers, crystal indicators and ejectors. The engraving on the various metal parts is stunning. The damascus barrels are in excellent condition with a beautiful damascus pattern that is showing on the side of the rib as well. The bores are bright with no dents or pitting. The grain in the butt stock is gorgeous. The overall condition of the gun is very good. At some point in it’s life, the right hammer was replaced and doesn’t cover the indicator completely. As noted earlier, this gun is equipped with ejectors but need some work. The specifications of the gun are as follows: Length of Pull: 14 ¼”, Drop at Comb: 1 ¾”, Drop at Heel: 2 3/8”, Weight: 7 lbs. 11 oz., Chamber: 2 ½”, Barrel Length 28” Choked Full & Modified. The stock has a slight positive cast. This gun has the potential of being a drop dead gorgeous piece.
