This is an excellent plus original condition Remington Model 1903A3 Service Rifle, with a minty bore and chamber, excellent original finish both metal and wood, etc. Rifle has a barrel date of 09-43 and a serial number range of 3,977,78x. This is not a recent import and there are no import markings on this rifle. Rifle is definitely "collector qaulity" and would fit nicely in anyone's US Military collection. I doubt seriously that anyone could upgrade from this wonderful 77+ year old military rifle.
