BRITTE - Belgium made side opener, high quality pre - WWII. 16 ga O.U. double trigger. Automatic Ejectors, 2-3/4 imp/mod & full 28-1/2 chopper lump barrels. Rotary 3rd fastener, self opener, solid tapered rib, bushed remove. Firing pins, 14-3/4” LOP, gold shield 6.6 lbs. Full coverage fine tight Arabesque eng. Opened and cocked by sidelever. Side openers type of construction allows total action height no greater than that of the barrels themselves. It is a very compact and convenient design. Only 2-1/8” height, desirable collectors item. Only 300 total made. 200 in 12 Ga. 50 each in 16-20 ga. all orig. fine condition. All the original, Britte made 300 guns all marked with letter B in front of serial number. After the war actions were discovered in Britte's home basement. Then they were built up and reproduced by different gun makers. Those are not the 300 original Brittes. Super Britte - The Highly engraved Britte ejector guns are marked Super Britte. Comes with handmade stiff leather leg of mutton gun case. 100% original.
