Description:
U.S. Springfield 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Carbine in .30-40 Krag. SN #292829. Mfg. in 1900. LOP 13 1/4". 22" barrel with a "Fine" bore. The blued metal finish has been nicely re-finished as has the full length stock and forend. 8000 of these Carbines were modified by Springfield Armory and Rock Island Arsenal to except a Knife Bayonet on the 22" barrel.
