Description:
We have a nearly new Ruger SR556 (SR not AR) which was produced a short time about 10 years ago. They were great guns but expensive as evidenced by the $2275 price
on this one. These were piston actuated guns resulting in a much "cleaner" running bolt and receiver area instead of the gas impingement which blows unburned powder and bullet debris into the action, resulting in the need to clean more often. Comes with the factory case- papers, lock, 2 magazines P/mag, Ruger iron sights, readily removable. This gun also has a 4 position gas piston regulator, much like the swiss sig 556 military with a single shot option and others to accomodate various styles of ammo. The booklet describes the caliber as 5.56 nato and .223 remington.
This was an estate gun, the origional owner passed. We need a FFL and certified funds- $50 insured shipping to lower 48. These don't come up often and especially in the condition of this one. Barrel marked 5.56 Nato 1-9 (1 turn in 9") and 16 inches in length.
