Beautiful extra large Indian pipe bag. This bag flags is made from brain tanned deer skin and beaded in a patriotic theme with American flags. The upper portion of the fringe is decorated with quillwork. The bag was made in approx. 1890. This is the largest bag we have seen in over 30 years of collecting and dealing
Dimensions--Overall including fringe 35.0" Width 7.50"
Condition-- Excellent with only very minor bead loss. The Quilled area shows some very small areas of fraying. The leather is soft and pliable.
