This Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .30 Carbine with a 7.5" inch barrel is in superb condition inside and out, and comes complete with it's original box, owner's manual, lock, and plastic shipping bag. Bought new by the original owner in 2015, this single-action revolver had one cylinder load fired thru it and was put up into storage until now. The factory blue finish rates 99%, with the only deductions coming from a tiny mark on the left side of the frame next to the hammer screw and a tiny nick in the front sight blade. Both of these deductions were the result of storage with other handguns in a safe. All of the factory stampings are crisp and clean, and all of the screw heads are unmolested and perfect. The bore in this Blackhawk is pristine with perfect rifling, and the 6 cylinder bores are equally as clean and bright. The factory polished hammer and trigger are bright and clean, free from any damage, wear, or staining. The original checkered black plastic grips are like-new on this Ruger, free from any wear, chips, scratches, repairs, or damage of any kind. The action in this New Model Blackhawk is smooth, precise, and perfectly "in time". The cylinder locks up tight and the trigger breaks nicely with a light pull. All of the controls on this Ruger are in perfect working order, just like the day it left the factory five years ago. The .30 Carbine chambering of this Ruger makes it a real hand-cannon and a blast to shoot, just make sure you wear ear protection as these are notoriously loud! This Ruger would make an excellent plinker, home-defense gun, or hunting revolver. If you have been looking for a fun, versatile, and powerful new revolver to add to your collection this Ruger New Model Blackhawk would be an excellent choice.
