This British bandolier is officially called "Bandolier for Mounted Infantry" Used mainly in WW I and again in WWII Holds 10 clips of 5 cartridges in 5 pockets ( 2 clips each pocket ). Measures about 45 inches overall length and adjusts smaller.This bandoler has no markings, shows no signs of use; and I would say about 30 to 50 years old.It is in very nice condition and of excellent quality. It is not like the repro belts one finds on the internet.The verdigris on some of the brass studs and rivets is present and could use cleaning.
