Description:
Serial #320211, .32 Short or Long R.F., 22 1/2" octagon barrel with fair bore that has scattered light pitting. This is a nice take down boy’s rifle. The barrel retains 65% of the original blue with scattered areas of surface oxidation and silvering along the facets. There are impact marks extending up 3/4" from the breech to the caliber writing on one bevel of the barrel and in two spots on the right facet below the Remington name line on the barrel. The case colors of the frame have faded to a light gray with areas of plum-brown. The Hammer and breech block have about 50% of the original blue and silver on the rest. The Walnut forend and buttstock show older nicks and scratches that have darkened with age and are now covered with a newer varnish coating that was not evenly applied. There is a slight amount of lateral play that can be detected in fit of the stock to the action. The action is fully functional as is the adjustable sight and the rifle rates good to very good overall. Please see the photographs for further information on condition. FFL or C&R
