It is perhaps one of the most sought after scoped Python Stainless revolvers ever produced by the Colt’s Custom Shop.
Once you have this revolver in your possession you'll learn that the action on this Colt revolver has to be one of the smoothest of any Python ever produced from Colt's Custom Shop. Collector quality complete with factory issued extended Leupold M8-2X extended ER scope and Colt shoulder holster. Standard markings with rubber grips and gold Colt medallions, non-fluted cylinder. The Colt Python is a .357 Magnum caliber revolver formerly manufactured by Colt’s Manufacturing Company (CMC) of Hartford, Connecticut. It is sometimes referred to as a “Combat Magnum”. It was first introduced in 1955. Now discontinued, the 2.5" Colt Python was intended for the premium revolver market segment considered to be one of the finest production revolvers ever made.
Pythons have a reputation for accuracy, smooth trigger pull, and a tight cylinder lock-up. This Python does not disappoint. It’s in beautiful condition with a Royal Blue Finish, wood grips, ventilated rib and adjustable sight. Truly made only for those who enjoy rare and collectible firearms.
