Description:
POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL IN SCARCE .32-20 CALIBER, LESS COMMON 5” BARREL, #284XXX, MADE 1924. Good example with excellent bore and very tight action, most of these were produced with 4" barrels. Retains most of the original high polish Colt blue with a small spot of corrosion at the muzzle on the left side, a little around the sharp edge of one cylinder flute (as seen in the photoS), and some surface spotting on the lower part of the back strap. Retains nice fire blue on the back of the hammer and on the trigger, exc. markings and grips with one very small chip on the right bottom rear corner. Lots of useful life left in this one.
