Description:
**USED** Spanish Model 1893 7x57mm 29" bolt action rifle with Spanish Civil War proof mark, "MP8" on the stock. These rifles were built by Ludwig Lowe, DWM, and Fabrique National. The serial numbers on the reciever and bolt are matching, while the safety selector and floorplate serial number is different. All serial numbers on the firearm are either 3 or 4-digit serial numbers. The rear sights range selector is adjustable between 400 and 2000 meters, usually only seen on pre-1915 versions. The only other markings on this firearm is the number "99" on the reciever, and "N4" on the top of the stock by the buttplate. This rifle is in fairly good condition for it's age, with the typical wartime dents and scratches that can be found in most places on the stock. There are very small areas of surface rust on the top of the receiver. The bore and chamber are in good condition with signs of normal usage. Please refer to the photos before purchasing.
