Description:
A beautiful custom stocked pre 64 Winchester model 70 in 270 Win.Built on a pre 64 barreled action,this rifle has a 24" barrel with a mint bore.The rifle has been completely customized by Pachmayr Gunworks of southern California in the 1970s.Features include very highly figured walnut stock with 30 line fluer checkering,ebony forend tip,gold grip cap,inletted deluxe sling swivels,and a shadowline cheekpiece.The metal has been customized with Blackburn bottom metal pachmayr trigger,engine turned bolt body,4 panel checkered bolt handle,and rust blue finish.The rifle has a Leupold 2.5x8 vari-x III scope instaleed.As you can see from the photos the rifle is in as new condition.It has onlly been fired enough to sight it in.This rifle was built by one of the premier custom gunshops in the country.Beautiful and very accurate.The action was built in 1952,so it is C&R eligible.
