Description:
Extremely rare Harold Corby's "YENZER" Bowie English bridle custom leather scabbard (8-9 ounces) in an immaculate, pristine, brand new condition from 1982 in natural color with a protective finish to dispel water. This scabbard will fit any "YENZER" Bowie knife which are seldom seen in today's marketplace which makes it a scarcity to any Corby's aficionados. The custom-made walnut presentation case by Corby was made for that scabbard in May 1982 (whereabouts unknown) and as with such, is in an absolute immaculate, pristine, mint condition. Very few of these presentation cases have survived in this perfect condition today. Size is 20-3/8" X 7-1/2" X 3-3/4" of the "Pyramid-like-pattern on the sides. It is a gorgeous, breathtaking case with the original red velvet lining and brass chain.
There are three original magazines included in this listing one of which is the very first article that was ever written on Harlod Corby and his knives dating back to July 1971. Finally there is a genuine original 1982 Harold Corby catalog with the 1982 price list and inset seen for the very first time,(depicting a line of custom-made sub-hilted fighters in ivory handles).
