Description:
The item for sale is a Winchester Model 12 Heavy Duck Shotgun. This is a full choke 30" plain barrel gun. The barrel is marked "FOR SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X 3 IN.". The gun is fitted with the Winchester factory red recoil pad which is correct for this gun. Based upon the serial number it was made in 1954. Overall it is very good condition. The blue is 90 - 95% blue with some corrosion spots. This is not unusual for waterfowl guns and the damp conditions where they were used. The forearm is quite nice. The walnut stock has some contrast and figure in the grain with a couple of pressure marks.The serial numer is 1411593 on both the receiver and the barrel assembly.
