Unique and beautiful DWM Commercial Luger, engraved and fitted in a attractive presentation case. This late 1900 vintage pistol is fitted with a 4 3/4 inch barrel, grip safety, dished toggles, is blue finished with straw small parts, and chambered in .30 Luger. What sets this Luger apart from any other is the oak leaf engraving (believed to be factory done) on the frame, trigger side-plate, and slide. There is also a name engraved on the left side of the frame "HAL-SCHWINGER SUHLi.TH. GERMANY" along with a silver medallion inlayed in the left grip panel with the initials "HS" engraved into it. The pistol is in excellent original condition, retaining 98% of its original blue finish. The parts that are straw finished retain 60-70% of their original finish. The bore is in fine condition, with strong rifling, but there is a very minor coating of corrosion throughout. The action is tight and functions perfectly. Comes with (3) Luger wood base magazines, cleaning rod, take-down tool, and a period Naval officers belt buckle.
