Description:
Vintage antique brown leather luggage. Strong brown leather with nice patina. The leather is fully alive and has been COMPLETELY HAND RESEWN THROUGH THE ORIGINAL STITCH HOLES. This work was done by a master leather restorer.
These bags were mostly used up in the 19th century only a few survive. To find one that is usable is near impossible. Great for any display or Civil War or Victorian reenactor.
Leather strap closer with buckle, the inside drap cloth lining is all intact with a couple of minor holes , there is one inner pocket. Strong leather handles.
The stamp on the bottom reads "Guaranteed Genuine Cowhide" The makers mark is
Dimensions : 15" x 7" x 10" approx. With handles height 13". This antique leather bag is in good condition for its age, and remains fully usable for your travels!
