SOLD PENDING FUNDS: Colt engraved Detective Special revolver. This was engraved by John Adams jr. in American Scroll with "C" coverage (75%). It is in .38 special caliber with a 2" barrel. The bore is mint and all the the mechanic's are functioning flawlessly. It comes with a correct period box which I think is original to the gun as the first 3 numbers match the gun but the rest of the numbers are gone. All the paper work is present as is the tissue paper. It comes with real Mother of Pearl grips with Colt gold medallions and the original Walnut Colt grips. There is also included a letter of authentication signed by John Adams jr. This is a beutiful Master engraved Colt which was manufactured in 1965 and engraved in 2016. A great addition and investment.
