Amberg GEW 98 8mm caliber rifle. WWI German 98 Mauser. Serial numbers are non-matching. Bore has strong rifling and is very good. Stock has a faint “1920” cartouche. Barrel has an “S/42 G” marking next to several Waffenamts. Good overall condition.
