Here is a great looking Colt Lightning small frame receiver. This receiver came off a gun that was built in 1902. For being over 115 years old, this receiver is in excellent condition and even retains some of the original bluing. The rampant Colt logo which is normally worn down beyond recognition is still clearly visible on the left side of this receiver. There are some nicks and scratches throughout the metal which is to be expected on something this old. The threads are all in good condition.
