***SOLD***High Standard Double-Nine .22LR 5.5" double action revolver. This High Standard Double-Nine features an aluminum frame with blue finish, double action operation, factory Ivory-like grips, and 9 round capacity. Production of the Double-Nine began in 1958 and ended in 1984. This particular pistol is a very early model, dated to 1959, which lack a spring return ejector. This revolver is in good condition for it's age with the typical signs of usage commonly seen on these firearms such as wear rings around the cylinder and frame where they make contact. Because of the absence of a spring return ejector on this early model, there is an area of surface scratches on the left side of the frame, where the ejector makes contact with the frame if the cylinder is accidentally closed with the ejector exposed. The rear sight has a small chip on the top left edge. The cylinder chambers and the bore are in great shape, and the pistol is in good working order. Please refer to the photos before purchasing. This is a great .22 revolver that would make a nice addition to a collection, or a fun shooter! No handgun sales in MA.
