Description:
The rifle features a 28-inch half octagon barrel and button magazine. The receiver, hammer, loading lever, grip cap and forend tip have a professionally applied case color type finish. The receiver, both side plates, top, underside and hammer have been beautifully engraved. The left side shows a mule and white-tail deer and on the right side is a pronghorn antelope and a buffalo. The top tang has been engraved "WINCHESTER 1876". The back of the lower tang has been engraved "TR07". The front end of the tang has been engraved in very small letters "J. ULRICH/T. McARDLE".
Sights include sporting front sight and a "FREUND" marked folding rear sight. The elevator is marked 45-75. It has the third model style frame with integral dust cover rail. Deluxe extra fancy checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forend. The stock has a low-profile cheekpiece and is fitted with a checkered and lightly engraved steel shotgun type buttplate. The right side of the stock has been fitted with a brass disc that has a grizzly bear on it. Crisp tight action and bright bore. This is just a spectacular example of a custom refinished and embellished Winchester Model 1876 rifle. The pictures don't do it justice!
