Description:
F. Dumoulin 12 Ga. Sidelock Shotgun. Gun was my late brothers Pheasant Gun. Starting to weed out some of the old family guns. 12 Ga., 2&3/4" Chambers, 26&3/4" Barrels choked IC & Full. Auto Ejectors, Leather covered Pad and Single Non-Selective Trigger. Bores are Excellent with just a faint show of wear on the muzzle of the right barrel (pictured). Bottom of Receiver is marked (F. Dumoulin Liege)
pictured if you can read it. Don't know if the F. stands for Francios or Federick or could be the same according to my reference books. All the Dumoulin models and makers built high quality firearms. Looking at the sideplates, I am sure the receiver has been reblued. Every reference book I have shows all the sidelocks case colored. Don't feel the barrels or wood have been refinished. Brother shot a ton of Cock birds with this gun even though we both had our choice of guns to shoot seeing we have been around and sold good guns for over 60+ years. Gun speaks for itself.
