Description:
The Winchester 69 series of bolt action rimfire rifles were manufactured between 1935 until 1963. These were Winchester's mid-priced bolt-action sporting rifles. The model 69A was introduced in 1937 with improvements to the cocking mechanism and safety also, an internal trigger adjustment. The model shown here is a post WWII specimen that sports the chrome-plated trigger, trigger guard and bolt with grooved receiver for scope mounting. Approximately 355,363 were sold. The Model 69s were not serial numbered as it was not required prior to the Gun Control Act of 1968. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
