Description:
Very unique Model 49 Deluxe Saddlegun .22 rifle. Excellent condition. This gun was made by Ithaca Gun Company in the 1960s for an Abercrombie and Fitch Company advertising account. It has beautifully figured wood, gold trigger, and a factory installed Williams Peep Sight. The gun is engraved with the A & F Company logo on both sides of the receiver. The gun comes with a leather M49 scabbard and an advertising brochure. This rifle has been in the same family since it was made, and to my understanding and knowledge has never been fired. I can't find anything on the gun that would indicate otherwise. Some small handling marks from living in a safe and the forearm is ever so slightly loose if you torque it, but otherwise perfect condition. One of a kind survivor from a Golden Age of Ithaca Gun Company.
