Description:
Extremely fine and near mint early 12ga hammer gun. Made on a #1 Frame with 30" laminated barrels, this gun with splinter forend, double triggers, capped pistol grip buttstock with original Dogs Head buttplate. The gun is lightly engraved in typical Grade 1 Pattern.
What makes this gun outstanding is its incredible original condition. The gun appears to have minor handling marks only and remains in near mint original condition throughout. The only area of loss is on the belly of the frame where the color has toned just a tad. Breech face appears unmarred. Hinge pin with gorgeous original high polish blue. Stocks are sound and excellent and retain nearly all of their original finish with only very minor handling marks. Buttplate is excellent with screws showing original color. Barrels are near mint with mirror bright bores. Mechanics are crisp and overall this gun is a gem.
