Payment Types Accepted: Post Office Money Orders Description: SOLD This gun it may have belong to BILLY THE KID's half brother Joseph Antrim on the back strap has this engraved (1859 KID ANTRIM 1881) I have a lot of paper that tells the story that I reserched . I just run into a few problems and could not go any futher also have colt letter .This gun is tight , has four clicks on hammer . Good address on barrel and 41 cal on the side of barrel. If you are any good at tracing history this is the gun for you . It will come with all I found and I think I can put them together but I just got tired . The Colt Letter said it did not know what grips it had in a shippment of six guns , But only one was a 41 cal. and Billy The Kid like the 41cal. so his Half brother might also like the 41 cal. Colt made well over 300,000 1873 but only 20,000 41cal. ASK QUESTION BECAUSE I WILL HAVE THE ANWSER Now this gun was made in 1903 it did not belong to BILLY THE KID SN. 230634 Now there is a good chance that it belong to Joseph Antrim who was THE KIDs half brother . The date and name was what Billy was know by his half brother 1859 was the year BILLY was born and 1881 was the year the BILLY was killed . Now Joseph Antrim was a gunfighter and gambler who was not as good as the KID so we think that Joseph would tell people that he was the KIDs half brother and he would show people the gun as proof he was KIDs half brother . In Aug.1882 Pat Garrett and Joseph Antrim met up by chance at the Armijo Hotel in Trinidad Co. They talk there privately for two hours . Garrett and Joe eventually shook hands and parted company with no hard feelings. I have all the documents to all of this . On Oct.5, 1878 U.S. Marshal John Sherman told Gov. Lew Wallace of NM he had a warrant for William H. Antrim, Alias KID, Alias Bonny ( This is Billy The Kid ) Now here is where I stop looking I needed to put the 1873 Colt and Joseph in the same state . My Colt Letter came back saying it went to San Francisco and Joe Antrim is in Denver Co. So now I have to prove Joe went to San Francisco . I found out he had a reason to go there and I found that reason but no proof he went there . The reason Family the only kin he had was in Adelaida Ca. where his step father Antrim lived til 1922 where he died . I just can't put Joe there . Now in 1903 you could ride a train from Denver to San Francisco . And Joe died in Denver in 1933 This is where I quite researching . Have paper work with all of this info.
