Description:
This is a Wincherser gallery style pump 22 that shoots short, long, and long rifle cartridges interchangeably. It is the 2nd variation of this popular slide action rifle refered to as the model 62A. This particular gun wat built in early 1951, and is in great shape for is's age. It has seen light use over the years, and good care. The bore is bright, with strong rifling, and the barrel has it's originl sight package intact. The metal surfaces are in very good original condition, with 90% or better bright blue remaining. The butt stock has several blemishes from normal use, and a few knicks to the wrist area as pictured, but no cracks or repairs. The forend is nearly mint, and original as well. The original butt plate is like new, and the wood fits proud like it should. Action works flawless, and the gun takes down and reassembles easy and tight.
