Description:
This true sidelocking Beretta SO9 shotgun is in Excellent condition with only a few very minor handling marks near the nose of the comb. The checkering is sharp. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is genuine leather and also in excellent condition.
The barrels are cold hammer forged from blanks of Boehler Antinit steel assuring exceptional strength, light weight and corrosion resistance. Single bead sight on the solid matte rib, 3 inch chambers, choked improved cylinder/Modified with ejectors. The barrels are blue and the remaining parts are coin finished. The receiver is engraved with fine scroll designs with a round panel on the bottom of a wooded scene and a woodcock. The fine scroll engraving extends to the top lever, which also has a gold relief crown. The side locks are very nicely engraved with a wooded field scene on the left side and a rocky plains scene on the right side with game birds in each scene.
Walnut straight grip stock and forend feature extra fine line hand checkering with a checkered butt.
