Description:
Winchester Model 70 in 308 Caliber built by,  personally owned and shot in competition by the famous shooter and rifle maker, CREIGHTON AUDETTE.  Built on a pre 64 Model 70 action serial # 327xxx ( 1955 Vintage ).  Purchased back in 2013 by me along with several other 1000 yard and 300 meter Target Rifles.  Had one other built by Audette which was very similar to this one which did not have his name on it such as this one does.  Typical Audette Full Target Stock with Stippled palm swell pistol grip area, bottom of stock in front of trigger guard, relieved roll over cheek piece for rapid fire and adjustable front sling rail and butt-plate.  Stainless Bull Barrel, Redfield International Sights ( Sorry no extra apertures for front sight ) with target scope blocks on barrel.  One other little neat fixture, alum wrench stock bolts which we believe the front one doubled as a seat for a palm rest for the off - hand discipline.  FFL or C&R Required.  Thanks for Looking.

Note from seller - Cannot understand why this gun has not been sold.  Sold a duplicate to it built by Audette for $ 3500.00.  Was not his personal gun.
