Offered is an above-average Winchester Model 1892 solid frame rifle with a 24” octagon barrel chambered in .38-40. The serial number dates this rifle to 1903. The gun remains in very good condition and has an excellent bore. The bluing on the barrel is extremely good and the receiver is very good with just some thinning and a few marks. The action works perfectly and the gun is mechanically excellent. The wood is very good and does not have any cracks, dents or chips. This is an above-average Winchester model 1892 and has been part of my personal collection for the last 30 plus years. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped in a hard case via FedEx Ground with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
