This is out of my personal collection. I purchased it in Columbus Ohio at an OGCA Show in the early 70's from a friend who brought it down from Canada. He said it belonged to the President of Stevens in Canada. At that time he said he did not know of another one and in the last 40 some years I have not encountered another one. Very rare gun.
Features 22 inch round barrel and 2/3 magazine. Correct front sight, buckhorn rear sight and folding tang sight. Gun is nicely appointed with finely checkered wood on about a 2X grade stock. It has an engraved rifle buttplate. Condition is excellent with about 98% original stock varnish and overall bright shiny blue. Engraved with a bear on one side and scroll work on the other. These guns were made in 3-4 different grades and this is the most elaborate grade. Excellent inside and out. I hate to sell it but it is time to give someone else the chance to enjoy it.
