Fully figured walnut stocks by Jerry Fisher with widow's-peaked ebony forend tips, inletted swivel bases, borderless wrap-around ribbon & fleur-de-lys checkering, steel-capped pistol grips, vacant gold initial ovals, and skeleton buttplates---checkered within. Metalwork by Tom Burgess: Small-ring single squarebridge kurz commercial Mauser actions with jeweled bolts and followers, 3-panel checkered bolt knobs, custom tang safeties, Canjar triggers, hinged straddle floorplates with release inside sculptured triggerguards. Leupold M8 6X scopes with fine duplex reticles on Leopold rings fitted to custom barrel squarebridge saddles and to rear squarebridges without separate bases. Extensively scroll and game scene engraving by John Warren: gold mountain lion on floorplate of .243; gold fox inlaid on floorplate of .22-250, enhanced with acanthus scroll and flowing onto triggerguards, grip caps, actions, four inches onto barrels, and buttplates. Pulls: 13 3/4". Weights: 8lbs, 3oz. Appear unfired. Built as a set and pictured together on the cover of "American Rifleman" and subject of an article, January 1978, p34-35. And, Ron Toews' "Contemporary American Stockmakers" devotes eleven full pages to this set of rifles.
