Description:
WW2 GERMAN WALTHER K43 OR K-43 AC/45 CODE SEMI-AUTO 8MM MAUSER RIFLE, CIRCA 1945. (PICTURED IN THE BOOK). Serial numbered in the 6200 block with "c" suffix and matching to bolt carrier. Rough cast receiver with K43, ac/45 and "359" waffenampt. Scope rail with correct notch but with four holes drilled(don’t go all the way through as only 1/4" deep) for some sort of aftermarket scope mount although wont impede use of real style or original scope mount if you can find one let alone a zf41 scope. Period laminate stock with Waffenampt behind triggerguard. No buttplate. Has cleaning rod but no sight hood. Bolt carrier matching to receiver also with Waffenampt/"359" (Walther). Under upper handguard the barrel is stamped "bys". Steel 10-round magazine stamped "gcb" and "WaA892" with "G43/K43". Very clean bore and rifling. Functions as it should. This particular gun is pictured and mentioned in W. Darrin Weaver's book "Hitler's Garands- German Self-Loading Rifles of World War II" page 127 where it says this was one made in the LAST few weeks of the firm's production.
