WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 OR M-1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE W/ SLING CIRCA JAN. 1944. Serial number "2,434,XXX" which matches to barrel date of Jan. 1944. NO import stamps. Original parkerized finish. Stock with Circled "P" on wrist and correct "SA/JLG" inspector's stamp in square on left side above triggerguard. Trigger group stamped "D28290-14-SA'. Correct battle sights. Pre-D-Day with stock a possible post war replacement for Korea but stock is clean with no dings nor signs of sanding as inspectorts stamps are crisp. Make a fun shooter and collectible.
