Description:
Serial #32-31276, .357 Magnum, 4 5/8" barrel with a bright excellent bore. This is one of the first New Model Blackhawk revolvers made in 1973 with the new safety transfer bar system. Interestingly, the frame number is NXR3-Red to denote the new model which seems to be a transition code. This revolver is also pre-safety warning on the barrel. The gun rates about 98% plus with only slight drag marks on the cylinder. The wood grips are excellent with very slight nicks on the right one. A fantastic early Blackhawk that has the look of the Old Model with the safety of the New Model. FFL MM
