Description:
Serial #12022, .22 LR, 21 1/2" barrel with a very good bore that has some dark freckling within the grooves. This is a commercial pattern gun that retains 80-85% of the original blue with gray mottling on the receiver, and some thin silvering along the exposed edges and projections. Some further finish loss occurs on the exterior of the trigger guard bow. The bolt is finished in-the-white, and the rifle has London and Dominion of Canada commercial proofs on the barrel. The walnut stock has minor handling marks and small surface blemishes scattered about the original oil finish with a mottled gray-brown patina on the buttplate, and dark ochre tarnish on the brass stock compartment door (the compartment is empty). This is a seldom seen rifle, and is a great looking example in fine overall condition. FFL or C&R
