Beautiful condition. About 96-97% of the original factory finish remains. The slight loss there is, is due to some sharp edge silvering and some minor toning of the grip straps. The fire blued parts, safety, sight slide and receiver block have faded slightly and are at least 90+%. There is no rust, scratches or rub marks anywhere. All parts match including the numbered grips. The bore is super rest of the gun. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling.
The striated grips are great, no dings splits or chips missing.
The stock is in very nice condition, retaining almost all of the original lacquer. There is a repaired split on the top left edge about 3" long. The stock is not numbered to the gun and is available for $650.
It is offered with the rare original leather harness, which is fantastic condition. All the stitching is intact. There are no broken flaps or any sign of leather crazing. The mag spring pouch is empty. The cleaning rod is original and has no rust. The rear of the harness has the two belt loops which show some mild use and is stamped ACTGE THEILE/DRESDEN /1917 and BAXII17. The stock is numbered 365 and while in nice condition does have a very unusual field repair. For an additional price of...... $1495.
