Payment Types Accepted: money order Description: Here is a very nice old Remington from 135 years ago or so. Action works well with nice lock-up. Very good bore. This has not been re-finished and is in remarkable original conditon. With black powder loads or low pressure cowboy rounds it would be a good shooter. There weren't a lot of these made compared to Colt and S&W and finding one in decent condition is tough. 7&1/2" barrel. This is the gun Frank James did testimonials for, saying something like he couldn't be messing with 2 kinds of cartridges when the shooting got hot. He liked Remington revolvers even if the government did not. Filling out this listing prompted me to look up the serial number. This revolver is serial #25 for those who like low serial numbers. Antique so ships direct to your door unless local law prohibits. $40 shipping and insurance via priority mail. Layaway available.
