L.C. SMITH BY HUNTER ARMS FIELD GRADE 12GA. HAMMERLESS 30" SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN CIRCA 1946-50. Serial number "FWS36XX" on the watertable along with "Field". 30" barrels choked MOD and IMOD with large brass bead on raised solid rib. Tight on face with lever in the middle. Extractors. Dbl triggers. 14 1/8" LOP from front trigger over bullseye hard rubber buttplate intact. Factory pistolgrip cap. Refinished overall with matte finish on receiver. Mint bores. Excellent screws. Original wood stocks with hairline in left wrist extending from end of upper tang to side plate in two areas(see photo). Some wood loss where receiver meets wood at front of triggerguard. Despite the hairlines, stock solid as can be. Would not hesitate to shoot but with some minor TLC will look better. Drop 1 1/2" and 2 3/8" so not much drop at all. 7 lbs.
