listed is an original Model 1842 Percussion Pistol made by Henry Aston dated 1851. It is in good shape however the stock has been repaired along time ago.it is stable but was cracked and repaired, The action is strong and works fine. Approximately 6,000 made with dates of 1851 and 1852.
damage could have very well been the result of using the gun as a club when it was empty.
