Description:
A nice Winchester Model 1894 carbine made in 1956. A good sound carbine with a 20 inch barrel in over-all very good condition. The blue on the bottom of the receiver is fading to a pewter color. The wood is in good condition with no cracks, but a few dings. The right side of the fore-arm has some noticeable dings. the rest of the wood shows some light dings and scratches from field use typical for a 60+ year old gun. It has been out-fitted with quick detachable sling swivels and has a leather sling. The butt plate is checkered steel. The left side of the receiver has been drilled and taped for a scope mount and/or axillary sights and have plug screws installed. It has a clean bore. Guns of this quality are no longer made and probably will never be made again. Please use the ZOOM feature to help you make your determination as to condition.
