Description:
Remington Model 1903 30.06 Springfield caliber with all Remington components. Has Hatcher Hole in the left reciever side as specified by the US Marines. Has cloth Olive Drab colored sling. 2700 yard ladder sight works perfectly.
This rifle reciever was stamped late 1941. Barrel date for production is 3-42. Serial number is 3077376. This rifle shows little service use and wear with no rust, corrosion or signs of mis-handling. The bore is shiny throughout with no rust or corrosion and has good riflings. Markings on the barrel are RA, Flaming Bomb and 3-42. Bayonet lug marked with R. Bolt Marked with R. The stock has all the correct markings including the FJA, RA and the OG stamps and a P inside a circle on the hand grip. The stock retains the original finish with no damage or cracks. The sights are original and undamaged. The rifle has all of the original finish intact adn in good shape. The trap door butt plate still holds the nickel plated oiler and cleaning pull through kit. This is a service Remington Model 1903 Springfield from World War Two.
