NORTH U.S. NAVY MODEL 1826 ORIGINAL UNALTERED FLINTLOCK PISTOL. 13 ½” o/a with 8 5/8th” smoothbore .54 cal. barrel. Lock plate stamped “U.S./S. NORTH” and dated 1828. All original and complete in very good plus condition. Metal a dark original patina with good lock markings. Stock with the old original patina. Two old repaired minor hairlines under the belt hook. Working order and good bore. Very rare in original flint, un-reconverted condition. Only 3000 made and most were converted to percussion. Only all original one we have had in years.
