George Gibbs 35 Saville Row London .256 Gibbs Magnum Cased in a full length case that appears to be original. The action is nice with a crisp trigger, wing safe that is functional with the scope mounted, there are 3 additional holes observed that look to be for older style peep sights, The blue is good and the markings are very clear. The barrel is 26" with a clean bore, chamber is clean and unaltered, proofs are clear, London Nitro Prooved, Cordite 33 1/16- 160 max, good blue, 2 folded sights, small bead front. The stock is in very good condition with good chequering, the drop is correct for a scope, stock finish is good, sling eyes, 14 3/4" lop to an older Silvers pad that is compressed, light handling marks throughout, one wood patch to correct for removed peep sight left side. 8lbs 2oz with scope, 7lbs 4oz without scope. The scope is a Pecar that is clear 4 x 81 post and crosshair sidemount is very tight and returns to 0. The case is in good to very good condition. The action on the rifle is very smooth and the long length of pull is great! Wonderful fast cartridge. csss 05189A1 5500.00
