Extremely Rare 1st Model Burnside .54 caliber rifle. 22” barrel. Not only is this a first model, but a factory engraved one at that! Barrel and frame have a smooth gray patina. Wood stock is very good and fits well. Action works perfectly. Bore has scattered pitting. This is a sharp gun that was poorly stored. Very fine gun that is one of the hardest carbines to find and virtually unheard of as factory engraved!
