Savage model 99F featherweight in 300 Savage.Built in 1956,this rifle has a combination of classic 99 features and some newer features that made it a better hunting rifle.The classic features are the cartridge counter,hand checkered walnut stock and forend,lever safety,steel buttplate,cocking indicator,and factory drilled and tapped for a tang sight.The newer features include a 22" light contour barrel,shorter rounded forend,factory drilled and tapped for scope bases,a jeweled bolt,and overall light weight.The finsh is in all original condition retaining 95% of the original blue and wood finish.The lever still retains 50% of the case colors.The sling swivels were professionaly added.The bore is mint with sharp well defined rifling.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage.The rifle comes with a Redfield 3x9 scope installed.A classic rifle set up and ready for the field.C&R eliglble.
